WONDER LOOPER LAUNCH

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to welcome Bahzad and Risa - the powerhouse duo behind Wonder Looper - to Toronto.

We had a remarkable turnout - it’s truly an inspiration to see the strength of the community that Wonder Looper has built in such a short period of time.

Some special acknowledgements have to be made for the intrepid out of towners who braved the cold and snow just to join us - one group drove in from Detroit and one solo traveller flew up from New York - Wonder Looper draws a crowd!

We held back some of our Wonder Looper inventory for the event, and I understand that we’re now one of the last stores, globally, with any stock left - what little remains has now been re-released, in store and online.

We still have a few pieces of our event exclusive Double Heavyweight Short and Long Sleeve T-Shirts in “Ecru” and “Sumi Black”. We also have a few event exclusive chain-stitch embroidered felt pins - in our very own municipal blue and white - that will be tucked into all Wonder Looper orders until we’re out ;)

Special thanks to Omusubi Bar Suzume for the Onigiri and to James Rush, our resident bartender, for the cocktails :)

Wonder Looper was started as a chain-stitch embroidery service out of the home studio of Bahzad Trinos & Risa Saito in Yokohama, Japan. Feeling that the generic, mass produced T-Shirts they were working on were not worthy of the intricacy of their embroidery work, they set out to develop their own T-Shirt : enter the “Double Heavyweight T-Shirt” that WL enthusiasts have come to know and love. From there, they pushed into other product categories, using techniques and materials that “reflect the relentless pursuit of the extraordinary”.
